Probiotic Numbers Over Shelf Life of Jalna Products

Monitoring of probiotic levels in Jalna dairy foods (table below) demonstrate levels well in excess of I billion cfu per serve remaining for the full shelf life.

Food Standards Australia and New Zealand requires that fermented products contain 1,000,000 cfu per gram. Jalna products contain at least 3 times that amount for the life of the product.

The lowest count at end of shelf life is 1 million probiotic count per ml per culture or 4.7 million per ml for the three cultures well above the level required under Food Standards. At end of shelf life the lowest total probiotic count per serve is over the one billion probiotic count.
